CNC and robotics integrated
worker operating a CNC
Fanuc America’s computer numeric control machines (CNCs) are now able to control connected Fanuc robots providing machine tending or other assistance through Fanuc’s Quick & Simple Startup of Robotization (QSSR). QSSR simplifies the connection of a Fanuc robot to a Fanuc-controlled machine tool. New QSSR G-code allows operators and machine tool builders to program robots using Fanuc CNC in ISO standard G-code format. Users no longer require additional training or specialists because programming can be performed with G-codes.
