Tools made for tapping hard, abrasive materials
The A-H family of taps is able to tap extremely abrasive or very hard materials such as cast iron. Premium HSS-E A-H Taps can tap materials up to 48 Rc hardness. HSSE-PM A-HCUT Taps can tap materials between 44 and 55 Rc hardness and feature heat resistant, powdered metal substrate for enhanced cutting performance and extended tool life. Taps with TiCN coating enhance the surface hardness and help increase the tools’ abrasion resistance. A new coolant-fed version with axial coolant holes help aid in chip evacuation.

Analyzer tool enables fast report generation
The Quick Weld Productivity Analyzer calculates total weld cost analysis. The PDF includes a QR code that users can scan with their mobile phone that takes them back to their original calculation and input variables; users can then adjust the variables to create alternative calculations and generate a new report. The updated calculator includes more filler metal selections for the North American market.

Cut multiple profiles cost effectively
The 3D MPC 450 2.0 combines three machines into one versatile and flexible solution. It can be configured to cut a wide variety of profiles, including pipes, box sections, angle bars and flat strips. By incorporating HGG ProCAM Software, its capabilities are multiplied. A new laser scanner adds even more capability and accuracy. Users can configure the MPC 450 2.0 to cut pipes, positioning material on pipe supports and clamping it in three chuck jaws; to cut box sections, positioning material on pipe supports in rotators and then clamping it in two diagonally opposite jaws of the chuck; or to cut profiles from flat bar, positioning and individually fixing material on a flat cutting table.
